A few of you guys may have realized that I was suspended for a week on DA for re-uploading my wallpapers & pics. Apparently wallpapers & pics are OK as long as they're not from movies/tv shows/artists (unless you were lucky enough to take the photos yourself).
I do understand that those photos & stills are copyrighted material but it's not like I'm making profit out of the wallpapers I make, I do my fanart just for fun & it's nice to share them with other people with the same interests.
From now on all my fanart that includes screencaptures and stills will be posted at my Livejournal but don't worry, for those who're interested to check them, I'll make a journal entry here with a link (I haven't uploaded the wallpapers to my LJ yet but be patient).
Despite my initial frustration and disappointment I decided to make something positive out of my suspension so I got my hands on my Ibook keyboard and started working on new wallpapers...with pictures I took. They are not the most beautiful things ever seen on DeviantArt but I'm still working on it, trying to develop (any) skills with bigger canvases (for me it's usually easier to work on 100x100 icons). They are pretty much on the same style as my Twilight wallpapers: simple and clean, less is more, a brush here and a texture there...
I'm also thinking about uploading some photos I took, I read some great articles about photography on the News section. I'm trying to develop my skills as a photographer as well (I'm not freaking marvelous at it though!! No natural talent in that *lol*).
I look forward to spending a long weekend next month in San Pedro (a small city about 200 km away from Buenos Aires) to take some photos, I only hope I can come up with something semi-decent to post here!
Anywho...that's all. I just want to thank everybody who showed his/her support to me by adding my fanart wallpapers to their favourites, I appreciate it more than words can say.
